Project Review and Discussion

  • BZA Telecommunication Facility (Antenna) Special Permit Application – 1350 Massachusetts Avenue

    The Applicant (AT&T) is proposing modifications requiring a BZA Special Permit. The modifications include replacing two (2) existing antennas with two (2) new antennas in nearly the same location, replacing six (6) remote radio heads with ten (10) remote radio heads in nearly the same location, replacing certain cabling with new cables, adding diplexers, and removing and replacing certain equipment in AT&T's existing rooftop equipment shelter. BZA Special Permits within the Harvard Square Overlay District require review by HSAC.

     

  • BZA Telecommunication Facility (Antenna) Special Permit Application – 1350 Massachusetts Avenue

The Applicant (Verizon Wireless) is proposing modifications requiring a BZA Special Permit. Verizon Wireless proposes to REMOVE two (2) existing LTE antennas and hardware from the existing Alpha Sector, one (1) existing Alpha Sector 6 x 12 hybrid cable and one (1) existing Alpha Sector 6-OVP, and INSTALL one (1) new MS-6.3-DB90-T antenna to the proposed heavy duty wall bracket, seven (7) new RRHS inside of the existing penthouse, two (2) new Alpha Sector 12-OVP, two (2) new Alpha Sector 6 x 12 hybrid cables, as well as updated support equipment and cables as shown in greater detail on the Plans. BZA Special Permits within the Harvard Square Overlay District require review by HSAC.

 

General Business

  • Update on Net Zero Transportation Plan (NZTP)

    The City of Cambridge is creating a Net Zero Transportation Plan (NZTP). This plan will help remove greenhouse gas emissions from transportation in Cambridge. It will help our community fight climate change. At this meeting with HSAC, CDD staff will share information about the plan and get feedback from the committee.
