Description
On Tuesday, September 24th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., we will host a virtual community meeting to discuss the Aberdeen Ave Safety Improvement Project.
Plans for the street include:
- Installation of a pedestrian crossing island crossing Aberdeen Ave at Mt Auburn St. This design will replace the existing flush bus apron, which is no longer needed.
- Installation of separated bike lanes on Aberdeen Ave. Separated bike lanes will be adjacent to the median, with no impacts to parking. This will narrow the travel lane on Aberdeen, resulting in slower speeds and safer travel, but no impacts vehicle capacity or delay.
Sign up for the mailing list for updates.
