  3D Printing 101: Game Piece Design (Main)

  Main Library, 449 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02138

  Learn how to create your favorite game piece in digital space and print it out using our Prusa 3D printers. Before taking this workshop: Complete Hive Safety Training Create a free Tinkercad account at www.tinkercad.com You will get hands-on experience running the 3D printer, gain fundamental 3D modeling skills using Tinkercad, and earn your 3D Printing certification for future reservations in The Hive. Create a Tinkercad account at www.tinkercad.com prior to arriving. Parents may need to assist users under the age of 18 to create an account prior to arriving. You must complete Hive Safety Training before registering for this workshop.

  What's a zine? And how do I make one? Come find out! Kids are invited to explore making, copying, sharing, and swapping zines. Making zines will include activities like writing, drawing, and using a photocopier. For kids ages 7 and up. Snacks are provided!

This book group will meet virtually and in person at the O'Connell Branch. Please register below if you would like to attend virtually.   Creativity Club: Holiday Cards (Valente)

  Join us at Valente once a month for Creativity Club, where we will learn or practice an arts & crafts activity. Recommended for children ages 7-11. All materials will be provided by the library. Materials are limited, and registration is helpful, but not required, for planning purposes. On the day of the program, we will welcome drop-in participants as long as space and materials are available.
