Overview of City's COVID-19 Response

This month, City Manager Louis A. DePasquale and his staff provided a high-level overview of the City's COVID-19 response. While the presentation is not a comprehensive list of the extensive efforts undertaken to support our community over the past year, it provides significant insights into the work that City staff have been engaged in to meet community needs and keep core City services functioning.

Since March 2020, when the COVID-19 crisis first emerged in Cambridge, City Leadership and staff have been working around the clock to deploy our emergency preparedness planning, and develop, implement, and monitor our public health strategies to slow the spread of the virus.

In collaboration and partnership with our community and regional partners, the City has thoughtfully approached the rapidly evolving pandemic.
