The Cambridge Public Health Department strongly recommends a COVID-19 booster shot for all individuals who are eligible. You should get the booster if you are 18 or older and were fully vaccinated with Pfizer or Moderna at least 6 months ago or Johnson & Johnson at least 2 months ago. Adolescents ages 16 and 17 can get a Pfizer booster if they are at least 6 months past their initial Pfizer vaccination series.
City of Cambridge Booster Clinics:
The City of Cambridge will be offering COVID-19 vaccine booster clinics by appointment only for eligible people aged 18 and older who live or work in Cambridge beginning on Thursday, December 9 and continuing on Monday, December 13 and Thursday, December 16 while supplies last.
These clinics will offer only the Moderna booster and will take place at the City’s COVID-19 testing site on the third floor inside the CambridgeSide mall during regular testing hours from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
