Assessing

An abatement is a reduction in the tax assessed on your property for the fiscal year.

How to Start

  1. Download the abatement application form for Real Estate Property, or Business Personal Property.
  2. Fill out application form and return it with any supporting documentation to support your abatement.

Requirements

Applications for abatements are normally required to be filed by the due date of the first actual bill for the year. See Abatement Tax Tip Facts for more information on Real Estate & Personal Property abatements.
