World Cup Watch Parties

Soccerball

The City of Cambridge and Forest City are hosting free outdoor watch parties at University Park Common, Sidney Street, in Central Square for the last four games of the 2014 World Cup.

These family friendly events will be held on:

  • Tuesday, July 8: Semifinals -- 4 pm Kickoff
  • Wednesday, July 9: Semifinals -- 4 pm Kickoff
  • Saturday, July 12: Third Place Game -- 4 pm Kickoff
  • Sunday, July 13:  Final Game -- 3 pm Kickoff

Games will be broadcast on a 9 ft by 12 foot viewing screen.

University Park Common is accessible from the Central Square Redline stop and numerous MBTA buses. No alcohol will be allowed in or served at University Park Common.

 A special thanks goes to Comcast for providing the cable feed for these events and to the Central Square Business Association for their logistical assistance.
