No parent should have to worry about having enough clean diapers for their child. We know how much love, care, and attention children need throughout their life. We also know the first few years are most critical to healthy development. Yet many parents have to struggle with not having sufficient supply. While many parents have opted to use reusable diapers, it is not an option for every family.
Did you know that 1 in 3 mothers experience diaper need at some point while their children are younger than 3 years of age?
Together, we can make a difference. The Caucus of Women Legislators is organizing a Diaper Drive from Monday, February 22 through Wednesday, March 2. Stop by Cambridge Fire Department's Taylor Square Firehouse, 113 Garden Street, to drop off unopened disposable diapers and/or baby wipes to help infants and families in need. Diapers will be distributed by the non-profit Cradles to Crayons to local organizations that service families across the Commonwealth.
