Many Helping Hands 7th Annual Cambridge Martin Luther King Day of Service
Monday, January 16, 2-5 p.m., Central Square
Event Kicks Off on Cambridge City Hall steps, 795 Massachusetts Ave.
Activities will be held at:
City Hall
Citywide Senior Center (806 Mass. Ave.)
YWCA (7 Temple St.)
St. Peter’s Episcopal Church (838 Mass. Ave.)
Come volunteer at the 7th Annual Cambridge Day of Service to celebrate Martin Luther King Day and honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy.
Join in for an afternoon of hands-on service projects that benefit Cambridge and Somerville residents in need. Make fleece scarves and blankets for homeless children and adults. Make Valentines for elders and veterans. Sort food, winter clothing, children’s books. Assemble toiletry kits and emergency room activity bags.
Please don’t come empty handed: Bring non-perishable food, gently used winter clothing or a children’s book.
