In celebration of Women's History Month, join us for a lively overview of feminism, focusing on the experiences of women of color in each wave of the movement, from suffrage to present day on Thursday, Mar. 7, from 7:15-8:30 p.m., at Cambridge Public Library, 449 Broadway.

Stephanie Guirand, intercollegiate graduate student studying gender and poverty reduction at the University of London, will discuss key events and organizations in feminist history, highlighting women of color who shaped the stories and the future.

The program is presented by the Cambridge Commission on the Status of Women as part of the Women and Words Discussion Group.
