Help us learn more about the health concerns, needs, and strengths of our community by taking the 2019 Cambridge Health Survey, which is available in multiple languages. Your input is anonymous and will be used to help us understand the health needs and concerns of the city as we work to make Cambridge a Healthy City for All.
A healthy city is more than a place where residents can access quality health care. Social, environmental, and economic conditions affect the overall well-being of a community. In Cambridge, we believe in creating social change that leads to better health for all residents, especially those who are vulnerable because of historical inequality, discrimination, and racism.
The Cambridge Public Health Department and its partners are leading and supporting efforts to integrate health in all City policies so that everyone who lives, learns, works, and plays in Cambridge can experience a healthy life, regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual identity/orientation, or ability.
In 2019, the Health Department will conduct its second comprehensive assessment of the city to better understand and prioritize the health needs of the community. Results from the 2019 Cambridge Community Health Assessment will shape future programs and policies through a new Community Health Improvement Plan, the City’s five-year health agenda.
