Traffic Impacts due to Mayfair in Harvard Square May 19

Please be advised of traffic impacts due to MayFair in Harvard Square Mayfair Sunday, May 19, from 12-6 p.m., Harvard Square.  Road closures may be in effect prior to and after event to allow for preparation and cleanup.

Road closures include: 

• JFK St. closed to Mt. Auburn St. to Super Crosswalk; 
• Brattle St. closed from Super Crosswalk to Church St.;
• Mass Ave closed from Super Crosswalk to Garden St.
• Church St. will be closed. 
• Mount Auburn St. closed from Eliot St. to JFK St. 

Detours will occur on Massachusetts Avenue southbound (detour at Garden Street to the tunnel to Cambridge Street) and the intersection of JFK Street/Mt Auburn Street (to Holyoke Street to Massachusetts Avenue northbound). 

Additionally, it will be illegal to operate any unmanned aircraft (drones, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Unmanned Aircraft Systems) in and around the MayFair. Anyone operating one would be doing so illegally and could face Federal or State charges.
