Cambridge Science Festival Calendar

The 2021 Cambridge Science Festival (CSF) will celebrate virtually for the entire month of April, under the banner of “30 Days of Science.”  Working with 100+ scientists and organizations (including departments across the City), CSF will offer an exciting online showcase of STEAM videos, challenges, behind the scenes tours, activities and more, available for the full month. Additionally, the Festival will feature a robust suite of ~100 live virtual events (Charles River Bridge tour, meet-the-engineer sessions, Science of Magic, and more).

The Festival will be presented to the community with the #30DaysOfScience message, inviting everyone (the general public and STEM professionals) to share their Festival experience, questions, and discoveries across social media with this unique hashtag. Each day, the Festival will release a broad, general prompt highlighting a few items from the CSF Showcase to encourage exploration, conversation, and connection.

Midway through the month, CSF will highlight the 200 student winners of the 2021 Curiosity Challenge, as well as this year’s Curious Scientist and Curious Teacher. Keep an eye out for signage – the Festival is brightening Cambridge with window clings, a large temporary mural on Palmer Street in Harvard Square, branded MBTA buses, and more.
