City of Cambridge Accepting Community Preservation Act Project Funding Applications Through July 12

The Cambridge Community Preservation Act Committee is soliciting project proposals for funding consideration for the FY2025 funding cycle.  Community Preservation Act (CPA) funds can be used for affordable housing, open space, and historic preservation projects.

The deadline to submit proposals is Friday, July 12, 2024 and forms are available at
fy25cpaprojectapplicationform.pdf (cambridgema.gov).

Through FY24, the City has appropriated/reserved a total of $259.8 million for CPA projects, including $192.3 million for affordable housing initiatives.

There will be a public hearing on potential project ideas on July 17, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. and a public hearing on the allocation of funding between the categories of affordable housing, open space, and historic preservation on July 31, 2024 at 5:30 p.m.
