Join the Council on Aging for a weekly Spanish Lessons class designed to help you explore a new language and culture in a fun and supportive environment. The class is open to Cambridge residents age 60 and older.

Have you ever wanted to learn Spanish but didn’t know where to start? Our weekly Spanish Class, a vibrant and interactive class designed especially for beginners with no prior experience, is the perfect place to start! This course makes learning Spanish enjoyable and approachable while immersing you in the rich cultures of Spanish-speaking countries.

Class Details:

  • When: Every Wednesday through June 4, 2025
  • Time: 9:30 - 11 a.m.
  • Where: North Cambridge Senior Center, 2050 Massachusetts Avenue
  • Cost: Free!

  • Beginner-Friendly: No previous knowledge? No problem! This class starts with the basics and builds your confidence step by step, using simple, engaging lessons tailored to first-time learners.

Experience the flavors, music, traditions, and stories of Spanish-speaking countries while learning the language. You'll gain insights that go beyond vocabulary and grammar, making your learning journey truly enriching.
  • Fun and Interactive: From group activities and conversational games to music and videos, you’ll have fun while building skills. Every session is filled with laughter, learning, and connections.
