The Economic Development Division is offering a comprehensive new business planning workshop called Cambridge Community Classroom Program.

The free, 10-week program will offer 30 HUD-eligible Cambridge residents and business owners the opportunity to learn how to develop their business plan and grow their business utilizing marketing strategies. Ten Monday night sessions will be held from October 19-December 14, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. -9:00 P.M., at the City Hall Annex, Community Room, 2nd Floor, 344 Broadway in Cambridge. Participants will attend workshops; receive one-on-one technical assistance; work with experts to build a business plan; learn about options to finance and manage a business; and learn how to market their business and target customers.

At the end of the program, each participant will pitch their best business ideas for the opportunity to win a one-month membership to Workbar Cambridge in Central Square.

Interested participants are requires to fill out a pre-screening survey by October 12, 2015.
