Middle Income Homeownership Open House

20 Chestnut St

A two-bedroom/one-bathroom condominium for middle-income households is being offered by the Community Development Department. Applications for the unit at 20 Chestnut Street will be accepted from households earning up to 120 percent of the area median income, adjusted for household size.

There will be two open houses at 20 Chestnut St, Unit 205. It is not necessary to attend an open house to apply for the unit. The open houses are on:

  • Thursday, April 21, from 4:30 P. M. to 7:00 P. M.
  • Tuesday, April 26, from 4:30 P. M. to 7:00 P. M.

    Applications will be due on Monday, May 16, by 7:00 P.M.  Interested applicants must meet income and asset limit criteria, and provide a pre-approval for a mortgage sufficient to purchase the unit. Preference will be given to Cambridge residents and families with children. The unit is subject to resale, limited equity and occupancy restrictions. During the open house, staff will be available to discuss this opportunity and the City’s homeownership program.
