The City of Cambridge is piloting a program to improve access to electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. EVs are an important tool to reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality in our community.

We are looking to identify locations to add more EV chargers to public areas in Cambridge. This program aims to increase access to EV charging stations, particularly for residents without driveways. The City has identified three locations that have the infrastructure needed to install an EV charging station: Tudor Street, Norfolk Street, and Pemberton Street.

Join us to share your ideas for other potential locations, and to learn more about the EV charging program. For more information visit CambridgeMA.gov/ElectricVehicles, or contact Bill Deignan at Wdeignan@cambridgema.gov. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. by remote meeting. Please register ahead of the meeting time.
