Working Fire on Green Street

The "Working Fire" was ordered on the morning of February 27, 2023 for the fire in the 3 1/2 story, wood-frame residence at 586 Green St. (corner of Bay St).

Firefighters from 4 engines, 3 ladders, 2 squads, rescue 1, and command and staff units worked to quickly contain and extinguish the fire.

All residents (both human & pets) were safety evacuated.

No injuries were reported.

The cause was under investigation.

Group 4 was on duty.

Incident Commander:  Deputy Chief Sean White.

Time of the initial alarm: 0951 a.m.

Working fire: 1007 a.m.
