Filming-related road closures on Harvard Bridge, Memorial Drive on Sunday, April 2

On Sunday, April 2, Harvard Bridge on Massachusetts Avenue will close between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. Memorial Drive between Vassar Street and Binney Street will close from 1:15 p..m. to 5:30 p.m.

Expect road closures and traffic impacts on the Harvard Bridge and Memorial Drive on Sunday, April 2, 2023 due to the filming of a major motion picture. 

  • The Harvard Bridge on Massachusetts Avenue will be closed to general traffic from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. The MBTA #1 bus will still use the bridge with 10 minute delays. 
  • Memorial Drive will close between Vassar Street and Binney Street between 1:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. 

Expect traffic impacts in the east side of the City, including the MIT/Area Two neighborhood and surrounding areas.

The same movie will be filming across the river in Boston on Saturday, April 1, and will close Storrow Drive near the Hatch Shell between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Filming on both days may include the use of helicopters.
