New Co-ed Youth Street Hockey League Open to Cambridge 8-12 Year Olds

Cambridge Recreation, in collaboration with Cambridge Youth Hockey, is excited to announce the Cambridge Street Hockey League (SHL). The new, co-ed street hockey league is open to Cambridge youth ages 8-12. The outdoor league will focus on skills, drills, and game competitions among friends.

  • Co-ed leagues open to 8 – 9 year olds and 10 – 12 year olds of all gender identities
  • New and experienced players welcome
  • Sneakers, sticks, mouth pieces, and water bottles required

League Schedule

  • Tuesday and Thursday evenings, July 2 - August 8 (no league on July 4)
  • Located at John A. Ahern Field, 259 Charles St.
  • Skills and Drills: 5:30 - 6 p.m.
  • Games: 6 - 8 p.m.

To register, fill out a registration form (PDF) and return it with $10 fee to DHSP (51 Inman St. 3rd Floor) or the War Memorial Recreation Center Front Desk, 1640 Cambridge St., Door 15.

The last day to register is July 2, 2024.
