The Finance Committee will conduct public hearings on the FY15 City and School Budgets covering the fiscal period July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015. 

FY15 City and School Budget Hearings will be held in the Sullivan Chamber of Cambridge City Hall, 795 Massachusetts Avenue as follows:

Monday, Apr. 28, 2014 -- Regular City Council Meeting (Budget Overview)

Thursday, May 8, 2014 -- commencing at 9:00 A.M. 

Thursday, May 15, 2014 -- commencing at 9:00 A.M. 

Wednesday, May 21, 2014 -- commencing at 6:00 P.M. (School Department)

Thursday, May 22, 2014 -- commencing at 9:00 A.M. (If necessary)

Monday, June 2, 2014 (Budget Adoption)


Meetings will be broadcast on the Municipal Channel, 22-CityView, and streamlined live on the City's website, www.cambridgema.gov.  The proposed budget will include recommendations from the City Manager concerning capital and operating budgets.

All interested individuals are invited to attend and be heard and/or submit written testimony. Those wishing to testify may do so either at the beginning or conclusion of each day’s hearings. Copies of the budget may be viewed at the branch libraries and will be available in the Budget Office at City Hall on or after April 29, 2014.
