Cambridge City Hall lit up in Blue for Autism Awareness

The office of Mayor Marc McGovern and City Manager Louis A. DePasquale, along with the Principals of Fletcher-Maynard Academy, King Open School, Cambridgeport School, and Cambridge Street Upper School are joining forces as we move BEYOND AWARENESS & INTO ACCEPTANCE of Autism in Cambridge.

Nearly a quarter century ago, the Autism Society launched a nationwide effort to promote autism awareness, inclusion and self-determination for all, and assure that each person with Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is provided the opportunity to achieve the highest possible quality of life.

Please join us on the steps of City Hall for a Lighting Up Ceremony and a brief speaking program. Following the speaking program, at approximately 7 p.m., Cambridge will commemorate Autism Awareness Month by lighting City Hall in blue light.
