City of Cambridge offices, including all library locations and senior centers, will be closed and curbside collections will be suspended on Monday, January 20, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Parking meter payments will not be required on the holiday.
Curbside collection of trash, recycling, and compost will be one day behind schedule for the rest of that week. Street cleaning and yard waste pickup are suspended for the winter season and resume in April.
The Cambridge Cemetery at 76 Coolidge Avenue will have the gates open from 7 a.m. until dusk on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, however, the Cemetery Administrative Office will be closed.
