The Baker-Polito Administration announced plans to increase access to at home COVID-19 test kits for residents across the Commonwealth. The Administration has secured 2.1 million iHealth Labs over-the-counter (OTC) at-home rapid antigen tests that will be delivered to 102 towns with the highest percentage of families below the poverty level. These free tests will be available for distribution to the public by each municipality, with an emphasis on increasing access for individuals and families who are facing financial hardship.

The Cambridge Public Health Department strongly recommends a COVID-19 booster shot for all individuals who are eligible. You should get the booster if you are 18 or older and were fully vaccinated with Pfizer or Moderna at least 6 months ago or Johnson & Johnson at least 2 months ago.
The City of Cambridge today announced that it will be offering COVID-19 vaccine booster clinics by appointment only for eligible people aged 18 and older who live or work in Cambridge beginning on Thursday, December 9 and continuing on Monday, December 13 and Thursday, December 16 while supplies last.

The deadline to apply for the next Civil Service exam to become a Cambridge Police Officer has been announced. The written examination is scheduled to take place in March 2022. The deadline to apply for the exam is January 18, 2022. Late applications will be accepted until February 1, 2022.
