The Development Log, published quarterly, tracks large-scale residential, commercial and institutional development projects currently in the permitting or construction phases in the City of Cambridge.
The following results are unofficial as of November 2, 2021. Write-in, auxiliary, provisional, and overseas absentee ballots are not included in the results. Write-in and auxiliary ballots will be tabulated beginning on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. Official results cannot be declared until November 12, when provisional ballots and overseas absentee ballots will be counted, as mandated by state law.
CDC Director Rochelle P. Walensky, M.D., M.P.H., endorsed the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices’ (ACIP) recommendation that children 5 to 11 years old be vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Pfizer-BioNTech pediatric vaccine. CDC now expands vaccine recommendations to about 28 million children in the United States in this age group and allows providers to begin vaccinating them as soon as possible.

The 13.1 mile course starts & finishes at CambridgeSide. It is a fast & flat course through Cambridge featuring MIT, John W. Weeks Footbridge, Harvard Stadium, Charles River, and Harvard Square.
The City of Cambridge planned to install bus-only lanes and separated bike lanes on Massachusetts Avenue between Douglass Street to Memorial Drive in 2021. We were delayed and will present a new timeline when we have information.
Please be advised that on Election Day, Tuesday, November 2, 2021 beginning at 9:30 p.m. the Municipal Election tabulation process will be held at the Citywide Senior Center, 806 Massachusetts Avenue. After consultation with the Cambridge Public Health Department, the number of observers, including candidates, will be limited due to space constraints and COVID-19 public health guidance. The Election Commission will limit the number of in-person observers to three (3) persons at a time.
Voting on Election Day is available from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 for those want to vote at the polls and who have not already voted early in person or by mail.
