The post-processing of ballots will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 9 a.m. at the Citywide Senior Center, 806 Massachusetts Ave. This process will be open for public observation.
Election Night unofficial results include in-person early voting, mail-in ballots received before Election Day, and ballots processed by tabulators at the polling places. These results do not include hand-counted ballots (auxiliary ballots), write-in results, provisional ballots, or on-time mail-in ballots received on or after November 3, 2020.

The Baker-Polito Administration announced a series of targeted measures to disrupt the increasing trend of new COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations. Governor Charlie Baker announced these changes at a time where public health data has indicated that cases are rising, with cases up by 278% and hospitalizations up by 145% since Labor Day. These measures are meant to disrupt rising trends now, so the Commonwealth can keep the economy and schools open for residents and to prevent the need to roll back to Phase I or Phase II of the reopening plan.
In observance of Veterans Day on Wednesday, November 11th, there will be no trash or recycling pickup in Cambridge and no street cleaning. The trash and recycling daily pickup routes for that Wednesday will be collected on Thursday, November 12th.
The City of Cambridge urges residents planning to celebrate Halloween to follow the guidance from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and to engage in only lower or moderate risk activities to minimize the risk of exposure to COVID-19. The City is suspending all ticketing and towing associated with street cleaning on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd. All other parking regulations will continue to be enforced by the City on Election Day.
