Visit any of the three early voting locations offered in Cambridge during the period from Saturday, October 17 to Friday, October 30 for the State/Presidential Election. You must be a registered voter in Cambridge to vote at the early voting locations.
The scam phone calls reportedly appeared as 617-349-3300, which is the non-emergency business line for the Cambridge Police. In the calls, the scam callers stated that they were federal law enforcement officers.
The Cambridge Public Health Department is ramping up its efforts to vaccinate more residents than in previous years, with the goal of administering 10,000 flu shots this season. Flu appointments are required this year. People who live or work in Cambridge can get a free flu shot at the Health Department’s public clinics.
Since Friday, October 2, seven residents of a Cambridge skilled nursing facility have tested positive for COVID-19. Five of the seven individuals are current residents of the facility; the other two individuals were discharged from the facility prior to testing positive and no longer reside in Cambridge. In addition, one facility employee who does not reside in Cambridge has tested positive for COVID-19.
The City of Cambridge Tenants Rights and Resources Ordinance, Chapter 8.71 of the Cambridge Municipal Code was established to inform and educate both residential tenants and landlords as well as management companies, realtors, and all others involved in renting and leasing residential dwelling units in the City of Cambridge of their rights and responsibilities as a landlord or tenant.
The City of Cambridge is canceling all City-sponsored Halloween events and will not be issuing street closure, block party, or park permits this year for community events in order to help prevent large groups from congregating in close proximity.
In order to provide increased voting options in response to COVID-19, early voting is available to all voters for the State/Presidential Election, November 3rd. Early voting is available by mail and in person to all registered voters and no excuse is required.
