The Cambridge Human Rights Commission will participate in a Fair Housing Listening Session, in conjunction with the Community Development Department’s Housing Division, on Wednesday, November 13th, at 6:00 PM in the Citywide Senior Center Ballroom, located at 806 Massachusetts Ave. Fair Housing laws protect people from discrimination when they are renting or buying a home, getting a mortgage, seeking housing assistance, or engaging in housing-related activities. CDD/Housing and CHRC invite you to share your experiences with fair housing in Cambridge. Information gathered will help the City better understand barriers to fair housing so that these issues can be considered as part of the City’s planning for use of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funding in future years.
