The Cambridge Police Department today announced that two suspects have been arrested in connection to last Monday night’s shooting in Central Square. A 15-year-old male resident from Boston and a 15-year-old male West Roxbury resident were arrested following an investigation that has been ongoing since Monday night. This is the second significant set of arrests by the Cambridge Police Department after two separate shootings occurred in back-to-back days last Sunday morning and Monday evening.

The City of Cambridge hosted a ceremony May 13 to honor recipients of the 2019 City of Cambridge Scholarship. This year, the city awarded 77 scholarships of $3,000 each for a total $231,000 to Cambridge high school seniors and others pursuing higher education.
