With more and more residents shopping for gifts online leading up to and during the holiday season, the Cambridge Police Department wants to once again remind residents to take precautions when ordering online and having their packages delivered.
Inside of a Franklin Street apartment, Troopers and officers found not only the parole violator, but also a second man designated as the state of New Hampshire’s most wanted fugitive of the week and two other men. Also located in the apartment were a collapsible rifle, a handgun, a ballistic vest, ammunition, and narcotics.
The program is offering participants monthly lessons on social skills, in-person and online etiquette, dressing for success and making a good first impression.
The City is sponsoring a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, Nov. 17, from 9 a.m-1 p.m., at Volpe Transportation Center, (near 125 Munroe St.), Cambridge.
City of Cambridge offices, including library branches and senior centers, will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. There will be no curbside collection of trash, recycling, compost and yard waste and no street cleaning on Thursday, Nov. 22. Services will resume on Friday, Nov. 23.
