The City of Cambridge encourages residents to renew their 2018 Resident Parking Permits early and online prior to the expiration date of January 31, 2019. Click on the link above for more information on how to renew online, and key dates for Resident Parking Permit Renewals.
In observance of Veterans’ Day, Cambridge city offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed and there will be no curbside collections (trash, recycling, compost) and no street cleaning on Monday, Nov. 12. Payments will not be required at City of Cambridge parking meters and parking meter pay stations.
The Cambridge Police today announced that 10 new police officers joined the department after successfully completing their 24-week training and graduating from the Lowell Police Academy.
The Week will kick off with a Veterans’ Day Observance on Nov. 11, at 11 a.m., at Cambridge Cemetery, a luncheon at 12 p.m. at American Legion Marsh Post #442, and a Town Hall at Cambridge City Hall at 1 p.m. Activities on during the week include acupuncture, guided meditation, fitness and nutrition tips, restorative therapy, art workshops, social gatherings, food and refreshments.
In observance of Veterans Day on Sunday, November 11th there will be no trash or recycling pickup in Cambridge and no street cleaning on Monday, November 12th.
