In an effort to boost students’ interest and raise awareness of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) education, Cambridge is hosting STEAM It Up! on Thursday, Oct. 25, from 6-8 p.m., at Rindge Ave. Upper Campus/Peabody Elementary, 70 Rindge Ave. Pizza will be provided.

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Cambridge Police Commissioner Branville G. Bard, Jr. report that a 54-year-old Methuen man has been cited for negligent operation in connection with operating a commercial dump truck that fatally struck a pedestrian on October 5.
