Upgrades at the Central Square Library

Upgrades at the Central Square Library

Committee: Community Resources

Total Cost: $100,000

Locations: Central Square Library

Short Description:

Update the interior of the Central Square Library. The upgrade will include new furniture that is more modern and comfortable, a new technology table that allows for easy laptop hook-up, and scanners, printers, and other technology.

Long Description:

The Central Square Branch Library is the most heavily used of the City’s branch libraries, with around 15,000 users per month. An update would allow it to be a more welcoming neighborhood destination where patrons can meet, read, study, explore, and discover in a warm environment.
