Canine Comforts ($100,000)

Committee: Facilities, Parks and Recreation

Total Cost: $100,000

Locations: Dog parks throughout Cambridge

Short Description: This funding will be used to make improvements to the City’s dog parks, including adding a doggy cleaning station and adding molded dog bowls to water fountains.

Long Description:

The City of Cambridge has parks that allow dogs to be off leash in both shared and dedicated areas. These enhancements will accommodate dogs and their owners. Doggy cleaning stations would provide a public pet wash station for all residents to use, especially after muddy pond play. Finally, adding molded dog bowls or doggy fountains to 3 parks will improve access to water for pets. This project benefits all dog owners, dog lovers, and all creatures that frequent parks.
