Commend Exceptional Performance by a Police Employee
The best way to commend the actions of a Police Department employee is to write a brief letter describing the incident and the actions you think were exceptional. Information such as the date, time, and the location will help identify the employee if you do not know his/her name.

Interactive Blackout Poetry
Create word art from pages of recycled magazines and books and make your poetry interactive with Makey Makey, an electronic invention kit. This program is for school-age children and their caregivers.
3D Doodling (O'Connell)
Use one of our 3D Doodler pens to create anything your mind can dream up! For ages 5 and up. Kids under 7 must be accompanied by a grownup. No registration required.
Papercraft: Snowflakes (O'Connell)
Celebrate the winter season with an afternoon craft at O'Connell Branch. We'll provide supplies and instructions to cut traditional snowflakes and advanced 3-D versions using multiple sheets of paper. Recommended for ages 5 and up with a caregiver. Teens and adults are welcome!
