LEGO Time (Main)
It's a weekly block party! Join friends to design and build amazing LEGO structures. Let your imagination run wild!
The Children's Room has plenty of LEGO pieces, so you don't need to bring your own. LEGO pieces are choking hazards for young children. For children ages 5 and up and their caregivers. This program can accommodate 30 builders. Children under age 7 must be attended by a caregiver. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. Well-designed condition assessment forms offer the best means to efficiently collect information on site while surveying public art. Condition assessment forms for sculptures, paintings and murals, and works on paper, which were designed by our Director of Conservation, can be downloaded here.

This designation recognizes communities that have successfully created new housing, adopted best practices for growth and sustainable development, and encouraged and invested in the creation of affordable housing, and also renews the initial designation Cambridge received when the Housing Choice Initiative was first launched.

The Cambridge Animal Commission urges pet owners to think twice when bringing pets in the car, especially with the hot days of August and September still ahead of us. It is best to leave pets at home if you are running errands and would potentially have to leave your pet in the car.

How to Dial a Memory (Main)
This installation invites visitors to learn about and interact with a piece of space-age technology. It centers on the Memory Dialer, a machine modeled after core rope memories of yesteryear - specifically the ones that held vital software for the Apollo Lunar Module when it made its first trip to the moon in 1969.

Continue building your machine-sewing skills AND receive support as you work on your own sewing projects with our Library sewing community. Participants must register but may drop-in any time during the program.
This program is designed for patrons who know the basics of how to use our Janome sewing machines.
