City of Cambridge offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed on Monday, January 2, 2023, in observance of the New Year’s holiday. Please also note that all library locations will also be closed on Sunday, January 1, 2023. Parking meter payments will not be required at Cambridge parking meters and parking meter pay stations on January 1 and 2, 2023.

The Amendment passed on Monday, February 25th to expand the current Tree Protection Ordinance.

Come join the City Arborist Dave Lefcourt and Assistant City Arborist Abby Bentley for a neighborhood tree walk, weather permitting. Anyone interested in joining the tree walk can meet at the West Cambridge Russell Youth Center at 5:30 p.m.

City offices will also be closed on Thursday, Dec. 24 and Friday, Dec. 25 in observance of the Christmas Holiday. There will be no trash or recycling pickup in Cambridge on Dec. 25 and regular pickup routes will be one day behind schedule for the reminder of the week.
