Arbor Week Tree Planting
Mayor Sumbul Siddiqui, City Arborist Dave Lefcourt and Assistant City Arborist Abby Bentley will be hosting a tree planting in the Elm and Hampshire Plaza with students from the Cambridgeport School, 89 Elm St. at 12 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
Watson Street Lot
The City of Cambridge established a pollinator garden at the vacant lot at the corner of Brookline and Watson Streets in anticipation of future open space improvements.
SeeClickFix
SeeClickFix allows the public to report various issues around the City directly to the responsible department for review and resolution.
PB Cycle 9
The City of Cambridge launched the 9th Cycle of Participatory Budgeting (PB9) in 2022. Between June and July, community members submitted 1,320 ideas for how to spend $1 million on one-time capital projects to improve Cambridge. From August through November, volunteer PB Delegates researched all submitted project ideas and developed the final proposals for the PB9 vote.
Park Ave Road Reconstruction Project
Park Ave. from Huron Ave. to Holworthy St. is scheduled for improvements as part of the Five Year Street and Sidewalk Reconstruction Plan. Work is expected to begin in the Spring of 2020.
