Transit Advisory Committee

What is the Transit Advisory Committee?

The Transit Advisory Committee gives feedback on city and state projects. The advisory committee has also generated new ideas on improving public transit in Cambridge and greater Boston. The recent work of the advisory committee includes:

  • writing letters of support for public transit expansion projects
  • brainstorming ideas to change or add new bus routes
  • reviewing street designs for city and state projects
  • providing feedback on service reliability and improvements
  • identifying new funding opportunities

We are reviewing applications and conducting applicant interviews. If you applied and did not hear from city staff, please send an e-mail to transit@cambridgema.gov or call 617-349-6959.
