Gold Star Pool Open for 2024 Summer Season

Gold Star Pool

Gold Star Mothers Pool ("Gold Star Pool") is open for the summer season! Located at 123 Berkshire Street, the facility features two ADA-compliant pools. Have fun and explore aquatics in the Beginner Pool (maximum depth of 3-6 ft.), practice your strokes in the Lap Pool, and get relief from the heat by jumping into the Lap Pool’s 10 ft. deep end! Gold Star Pool is free to Cambridge residents. Capacity is limited. 

Gold Star Pool will be open through Monday, September 2. 

Summer 2024 Open Swim Hours

  • Monday–Friday: 2 – 7 p.m.  
  • Saturday–Sunday: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m 

In addition to open swim, Gold Star Pool provides morning swimming lessons to local camps. The facilitiy is fully staffed with Red Cross-certified lifeguards. The pool’s rules and regulations will be enforced for the safety of all individuals on the pool deck and in the water.

Weather Policy: Gold Star Pool is open during rain. In the event of lightning, all staff and patrons go inside the facility and wait inside for 30 minutes from the last lightning strike before being able to return to the pool.
