The Peabody K-2 Afterschool exists in order to provide children in grades K-2 a safe, nurturing, educational atmosphere that fosters self-confidence and social growth.
Neighborhood Sergeants Program
In order to have a more diverse group within the police department participating with the outreach activities in the neighborhoods, a system of geographic responsibility was established in 1997.
Masks & Face Coverings
The City of Cambridge issued an emergency order requiring that face masks or coverings be worn in indoor public places. The order takes effect at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, September 3, 2021. It applies to everyone over the age of two years old, with exceptions in alignment with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health guidelines.
Clean Fleet Initiative
The Ciity continues to introduce advanced vehicle technologies into its fleet in order to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and transition to clean energy.
